Let's Talk America Intern/Volunteer Opportunities!

Seeking: Political Science, Communication, Business, Social Work, and/or Sociology majors - many opportunities for study and application of skills that seem eminently worthy of academic credits and community service.

Need Volunteers in these areas:

Research the emerging 'Mending Edge' initiatives: what organizations, individuals and institutions are working to bridge across our polarized differences, especially those using dialogue and looking at our political differences, including groups 'right of center.

Develop strategies for community organizing across political differences and ways to attract participants from the full political and socio-economic-ethnic spectrum to the conversations, especially 'right of center'.

Conduct telephone interviews with project participants to find out what they are learning; analyze and report the findings.

Utilize Research Skills to Design a Methodology to process, analyze, weave and reflect back the feedback from Lets Talk conversations - so it becomes an ongoing learning, reflecting, interconnected conversation.

Design the questions and curriculum we use for these conversations.

Design and Implement a MEDIA/PR campaign: local and/or national.

Fundraising, Grant research and writing.

Send a letter of interest with your skills and proposed actions, with references, to:
